Ruto In Trouble For Queuing With Pupils For Food And Failing To Eat It

Date:

Kenyans have takenĀ  a swipe at deputy president William Samoei Ruto after he took a photo queuing with young primary school pupils.

The deputy president had gone for his campaigns in Dagoretti South before he branched at one of the primary schools nearby.

Photos would later emerge of William Ruto practicing humility by making a line with the young kids to be served food. The second in command would later sit down with the young ones somewhere as they took their delicacies.

However, Kenyans were too quick to castigate the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader with most of them accusing him of playing politics in school. Others even called out the deputy president since he was not eating the food but only posing with the same for photography purposes.

Below were the various reactions by a number of Kenyans after Ruto shared his photos with the pupils:

“Honestly, How low can Ruto go for PR? Him queuing up with school kids similar ages of the ones he tear gassed with their parents at Langata primary school where he shamelessly grabbed the school land? What about kids lynched in Kiambaa Berbaque Church? Sad. A joke taken too far to hoodwink his gullible followers.” Said one Marigiri.

“This is what we call hypocrisy of the highest order,he’s now pretending to bend so low in order to lure people to vote for him.” Said Stephen Kipkoech.

Ā “I hope you were introducing the meal for the first time in that school if not parents could not afford to cater for food washidwe na kuserve.” Said Alice.

“Kibaki never did this yet he stands out as the best president Kenya ever had.Ruto is playing politics by hoodwinking Kenyans.Mbona hakua anafanya hivi during first their first term.” Wrote Lucy Kamau.

“What is the essence of serving food only to taste one spoon? Si you could have eaten everythingĀ  in that plate if you really wanted to appear equal with the pupils?” Added one Kenya.Ā

“Iyo chakula najua walimwaga tu. I doubt if he ate all of it despite trying to make Kenyans to believe how humble he is.” Continued another Kenyan.
