Makueni Man Trembles While Speaking Before Raila Odinga

Date:

A man from Makueni had trouble in addressing a crowd on Tuesday in which ODMĀ  party leader Raila Odinga was presiding over.

Duncan Musau, the Organizing Secretary of Mashabiki Self-help Group, had been asked to address the crowd during the meet and greet function that was hosted by Raila at Chungwa.

In his short speech, Musau spoke in a shaky voice and took unplanned pauses as his posture clearly showed his nervousness

According to Musau, most members from his group felt honored to be invited to such an event. He also introduced the leadership of his group.

Musau’s nervousness caught the attention of the event’s moderator, Philip Etale, who urged him not to be nervous while addressing Raila Odinga.

“Kile ambacho ningependa kumwambia ndungu yangu Duncan Musau ni kwamba Mheshimiwa Raila Odinga ni binadamu kama wewe kwa hivo hupaswi kubabaika unapozungumza.( What I would like to tell my brother Duncan Musau is that Honourable Raila Odinga is a human being just like you so you are not supposed to tremble while speaking,” Etale said.

In his address, the ODM leader said that he holds Akamba nation with great esteem adding that his partnershipĀ  with the people of Ukambani remains strong.

Musau was later taken to shake hands with the former prime minister by ODM’s Secretary General Edwin Sifuna where they shared a light moment.
