Kiraitu Murungi ,CS Kagwe, and PS Mochache linked to Kemsa Scandal.

Days after Kemsa CEO, Jonah Manjari Mwangi sensationally claimed under oath that he was pressured by CS Kagwe and PS Mochache to award tenders to powerful individuals, names of people behind the companies have started surfacing.

Last week, Tony Gachoka – the TV Show host, whose brother was listed in one of companies publicly named David Murathe as one of Covid-19 billionaires.

And this week has kicked off in a controversial way as the Meru Governor, Kiraitu Murungi was linked to Scandal.

Caperina Enterprises Ltd was registered in 2016, according to the records from registrar of companies.

The outspoken TV host says that he will continue to expose the powerful list of politicians and wheeler dealers whose companies supplied KEMSA with highly inflated PPE equipment.He also tweet “Corruption is self evident Kenyans we are fighting a monster, here today the accused persons raised 45 million cash bail in seconds.”

Tony Gachoka in his twitter account on Monday morning,  revealed documents showing ownership of one of companies paid millions of shillings by KEMSA for the supply of PPEs.

According to documents, Kiraitu Murungi wife Priscilla’s wife and son Fanon Mwenda are directors of Caperina Enterprises Ltd that got a tender to supply 10, 000 surgical masks to KEMSA.

Kiraitu has been involved in several suspect deals. In 2006,he stepped aside as Minister of Energy after being mentioned adversely in the Anglo Leasing Scandal. Under the Ministry of Energy, his name was mentioned adversely in the suspect sale of the Turkana Oil Fields.
