First Court Victory For Biden As Michigan Judge Rejects Petition Blocking His Win

Date:

A Michigan judge has thrown away a petition by two individuals who were seeking to block the certification of his win in Detroit.

Detroit contributed highly to Biden’s last minute victory in the state of Michigan. This state has traditionally supported republicans and many Americans believed that it was going to work in the favor of Mr. Trump. In fact, during voting, president Trump was confident that he would win this state.

This is one of those many cases that Republicans filed in a bid to delay Biden’s win in key states. The team hopes to override the popular vote outcomes in order to hand over the electoral college victory to Trump.

Judge Dismisses Election lawsuit

The judge also denied a request seeking to audit the election in that area. ” it would be an unprecedented exercise of judicial activism for this court to stop the certification process of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers.” Ruled Chief Judge Timothy Kenny.

Blocking the finalization of Michigan’s votes would disqualify the state from an electoral college. As a result, it would put the responsibility of selecting the president to the house representatives. That was according to the representative of Detroit Mr. Attorney David Fink during the hearing on Wednesday.

With this first court victory for Joe Biden, he may as well succeed to outdo Trump if other state courts throw away these petitions.
