A video has gone viral of the Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi being badly humiliated at the church pulpit by a woman as the congregation watched helplessly.
The woman who has so far been identified as the wife to governor Kiraitu Murungi asked the congregation whether they witnessed anything her husband did during his term as the governor.
Strangely, the crowd answered that they had not benefited much under his leadership and Instead of being smart and salvaging the husband from the embarrassment, the wife in a leading question asked “kwa hivyo hana kura hapa sindio?”
“Huyu governor wenyu amesimama hapa, mumeona kazi yake? Hapana? Mtampigia kura? nani atampigia kura hapa? Hakuna?? Kwa hivyo hana kura hapa sindio?” Posed the wife.
Consequently, the woman gave Kiraitu Murungi to defend himself since she was neither ready nor willing to defend her lover.
Feeling ashamed, the Meru governor quickly took charge of the embarrassing moments by introducing some funny jokes to make the people forget about the wife’s earlier sentiments.
