“The Betrayal Hurts” Jalang’o Breaks Silence After His Workers, Litiema And Eli, Stole His Millions

Date:

Lang’ata parliamentary aspirant Felix Odiwuor, commonly known as Jalang’o , has broken his silence since revealing that his groundmen Morrison Litiema and Eli Omundu made away with some of his money and were on the run with their families.

The duo were washing Jalang’o’s car at his home on Saturday June 4, with Radio Maisha presenter Billy Miya revealing that they stole Kshs2.5 million.

In an interview with Alex Mwakideu, his friend and former colleague, Jalang’o recounted the events of June 4.

According to him, he realized that Litiema and Eli had stolen from him after noticing that they were missing from the compound about three hours after they had left.

Jalang’o had used the car, which they stole the money from, to attend a campaign meeting on the previous day and arrived home late at night.

His children frequently use the vehicle to school so the next day(June 4), his daughter asked for the car keys to get a school project that she had forgotten in the car. She met with Litiema and Eli who wanted to wash the car after finishing other chores.

“Without any thought, the pair stole the cash and left the premises. It never crossed my mind that the two had stolen from me until we noticed, three hours later, that the duo was conspicuously missing from the compound,” Jalang’o narrated.

“They betrayed our friendship and it’s sad because I never thought of them as my employees,” he added.

He however said that he was ready to forgive Litiema and Omundu if they surrender themselves and will allow them to continue with their job.

“What pains me the most is that Omundu and Litiema were like family to me. The betrayal hurts and I am now a shell of my former self. They made a poor decision which has essentially ruined their lives. Wherever they are, tell them that if they return they will continue with their old jobs,” the comedian said.

Jalang’o is sure that they have not crossed to neighboring countries. He said that if they had gone far it was either to Bungoma, Kakamega or Busia.
