Moses Kuria Set To Seek Specialized Treatment Abroad.

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria is set to travel overseas for a corrective surgery after the burning incident.

Moses Kuria was hospitalized in late September after using an electric blanket from Ceragem to warm his feet since he was experiencing some numbness.

“And my feet just exploded and when I came here the following day they said that I have got third degree burns. It is very simple, Francis, two weeks ago a friend of mine who had been insisting for some time. Because you know I do a lot of work, a lot of walking and this particular time because I was travelling, getting numb and tired so this guy managed to convince me to use some gadget which to the best of my opinion I thought was authorized,” Kuria told Citizen TV’s Francis Gachuri.

Kuria bought the electric blanket at Ksh250,000.

According to a source who did not want to be mentioned, Kuria might head to China or India for the corrective surgery.

He further said that the Chama Cha Kazi leader is in good condition but needs the surgery to heal faster.

“Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is in good condition but he is expected to travel overseas for specialized treatment,” he said.

Ceragem CEO Vincent Omallah was summoned before the National Assembly’s committee on Health on October 26 to shed more light on the electric blanket after Kuria’s burning incident.
