Man Who ‘Keeps Provoking Angel Of Death’ Reveals How His Three Coffins Will Be Used In His Funeral

Date:

Alloise Otieng’ Ominang’ombe from Kajoro village in Teso South, Busia County shocked the nation for the third time after he recently got  himself a third coffin in readiness for his funeral.

This time, he bought a coffin worth Kshs58,000, hoping to be buried in it, and noted that those he had acquired previously were outdated. The expensive coffin is currently stored in his shop at Obekai.

Alloise started preparing for his burial in 2009 when he bought the first coffin. That however did not become his final resting ‘home’ because God blessed him with more years and after three years he got a second one.

10 years later, he is still alive even though his neighbors think that whatever he is doing is inviting the angel of death to his home and that it is against their religious beliefs.

One might wonder what will happen to the old coffins now that he can only be buried in one. His answer was very simple.

“The two will be split into pieces so that they can be used for cooking during my burial,”  he said recently in an interview with Citizen TV.

In a previous interview, the father of 18 said that he had taken the step to get himself a coffin because he believes anyone who is born will die. He further said  that he does not want to burden his family after his death and by doing so he is assured of a decent send off.

“I’m sure my children would have afforded a decent burial for me when I die, but I wouldn’t want to burden them so much, that is the reason I started the preparations early enough,” he said during his 83rd birthday celebrations.
