Date:

If you ever doubted the swahili proverb of pakaa mzee pia hukunywa maziwa, then doubt no more because former speaker Francis Ole Kaparo is here to prove you wrong.

Mary Kaparo, the wife to the former speaker filed for a divorce after she found out that Francis Ole Kaparo was smashing some mpango wa Kando woman somewhere in Kiambu county.

Apparently, the two who have been married for 40 years and are blessed with four children with the last-born being 30 years of age.

As a result of the infidelity, the heartbroken woman sought to have a DNA test on their children, a request which Mr. Ole Kaparo vehemently denied.

According to Ole Kaparo, doing such a test on “their kids” would not only cause more unintended consequences to the family but also cause a huge division in the family.

In the middle of their squabbles, Mary had told Ole Kaparo: “You think you’re a man? Umepata bibi mwengine, sivyo? If you do, enda fanya paternity test kwa hawa watoto wetu wanne unadhani ni wako.” These

Those are the statements that made Mr. Francis Ole Kaparo go to court in a bid to block anyone from conducting paternity tests on his four children that he has raised the whole of his life.

Francis Ole Kaparo added that all the four children are grown-ups and very responsible for their lives and that taking a DNA now would not lead to anything meaningful in their best interest.

The four children for the couple include Susan Kaparo, Saidima Kaparo, Stella Kaparo and Benard Kaparo who have all hit the age of 30 years and above.

According to the former National Assembly speaker, the wife was more concerned about succession as opposed to their children whom she now wanted to drag into their matrimonial issue.

Francis Ole Kaparo who is also the former chairperson of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) was accused by the wife of leaving with and smashing a mpango woman called Korere Paulata in their Eden Ville House.

Mpereina said that her husband has admitted “that he has now married one Hon Korere Paulata” and previously acknowledged “having affairs with women unknown to me”.

According to divorce papers filed in a Kiambu court, Mary Kaparo cited adultery, cruelty and desertion as major grounds for separation.

Despite being married since 1981, Mpereina admitted that it would be impossible to salvage their marriage which has so far hit a rock bottom.

With regards to how their marriage woes began, she revealed that all started in 2017 after Ole Kaparo began seeing another woman in Kiambu whom he would later settle with.
