KCB Customers To Receive Cash Benefits Should They Contract Covid-19

Good news for KCB customers who hold residential mortgages as the commercial bank will provide them with cash benefits should they contract Covid-19 and are hospitalized.

The news comes after a deal between KCB Insurance Agency and UAP Old Mutual which will allow both new and existing to withdraw a free cash benefit of Sh1,500 per day for a maximum of 14 days.

The benefit will be paid out by the bank on the first diagnosis of coronavirus and the test must be confirmed by a government medical facility that is allowed to carry out the Covid-19 test.

According to KCB Agency Managing Director, Aggrey Mumbi, the initiative is the way the bank is giving back to society during this tough of coronavirus pandemic.

“We have taken various measures in playing our part in the society to cushion the vulnerable and this is one of the ways we are showing support to our customer, to ensure that everyone we count on from staff to customers, to partners and the general public, can count on us,” Aggrey Mumbi said.
