Homa Bay Women Representative, Gladys Atieno Nyasuna Wanga wants the Deputy President William Ruto to apologize to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s mother, Mama Ngina over the remarks that two MPs in his camp ranted this past weekend.
Emurua Dikir Member of Parliament, Johanna Ngeno, and his Kapseret colleague, Oscar Sudi, didn’t have anything nice to say about President Uhuru Kenyatta’s mother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta which caused a public outcry, especially from women.
Following the insults, Gladys Wanga wants the Deputy President to apologize to Mama Ngina on behalf of them.
“The assumption being made by leaders who support DP Ruto is that they have been sent.” Gladys Wanga said. “There is no way we are going to be elected by insulting people,”

Wanga said if the DP refuses to apologize, she will rally all mothers in Kenya to protest outside the Deputy President’s office until he apologizes to the President and his family.
