Dr. Dre’s wife Nicole Young is seeking nearly $2 million per month in temporary spousal support after filing for divorce in late June. Young also wants $5 million to cover her legal fees.
Sources close to the estranged couple told TMZ that Young still lives in their Malibu home, as well as has access to their cars, personal chefs, etc. Dre will likely cite their current living arrangement in his argument as to why she shouldn’t be granted her $1,936,399 monthly support request.
Young will reportedly defend her request by explaining that she doesn’t want to depend on Dre to pay her bills as the two engage in what could become a messy divorce.

Young has already challenged their prenup, claiming she “unwillingly” signed the agreement in 1996 amid “extraordinary pressure and intimidation” from Dr. Dre. She alleges they came to an understanding two years into the marriage that their prenup would no longer be valid after he felt “ashamed” for what he put her through in order to sign the document.
“Andre acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me,” Young said in the filing. “Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement, and that it was null and void.”
Dre disputes her account and wants the prenup to be enforced in their divorce proceedings. Young said in her court filing that while his “net worth is estimated to be in the ballpark of $1 billion,” he amassed most of that wealth during their marriage.
