Deputy President William Ruto reportedly lost his cool after the interview with Joe Ageyo of Citizine TV.
Apparently Ruto was not happy with the questioning line Joe Ageyo had taken as it was not what they had initially agreed on.
In fact words doing round the social media indicate that DP Ruto was too enraged that he almost physically assaulted the presenter.
According to sources privy to what had happened a furious Ruto confronted Joe Ageyo asking him why he engaged him questions contrary to what they had earlier planned with his communication team.
It is then that the two had a bitter exchange of words with Ruto shoving Joe Ageyo to the ground after forcefully grabbing him by the collar.
After the brief scuffle, Joe was away to the lobby by DP’s aides, where his fellow journalists were waiting for him.
Efforts to reach Joe Ageyo for comments were fruitless as his phone went unanswered.
In the interview, Deputy President William Ruto gave the clearest indication yet that he is done with the Jubilee Party and will be seeking a new outfit for 2022.

Ruto said he was working to solve the issues facing Jubilee but he was ready to consider other options.
“When the President disagreed with Kanu, he formed TNA and when I was done with ODM, I formed URP. In politics, there are always options and I will employ them at the right time,” Ruto said.
