Suna East MP Junet Mohamed is accusing Soy MP Caleb Kositany of orchestrating an attack against him with some ODM members.
This is after Raila Odinga’s chopper was stoned when they had gone for the burial of Mzee Jackson Kibor in Uasin Gishu county.
Through a tweet, Junet said that they were attacked while flying, thus forcing them to look for an alternative means of transport immediately.
“Today we almost got killed in soy constituency Uasin Gishu County at the Burial of Mzee Jackson Kibor’s burial . Our chopper was completely destroyed and we had to look for alternative means mid air… Congratulations Hon caleb Kositany.@WilliamsRutois happy now,” Junet shared accompanying his message with photos of the helicopter that had a broken windscreen.

Details of the matter are still scanty but some of those who reacted to Junet’s post said that was stage-managed as others claimed it was a lie since there is no way they could have sought for an alternative means of transport while in the air.
“Fools day. How do you change helicopters mid air?” Kiprotuka said.
“Even Ruto was almost killed in Kondele and i didn’t see you condemn the chaos,” Adams Thirinja said.
At the same time, Raila faced hostility while campaigning in Iten in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
The former prime minister was forced to cut short his campaigns as the crowd was not willing to listen to him and instead shouted DP Ruto’s name and that of his party.
