Ruto’s Mole Musalia Rudely Responds To President Uhuru

Date:

Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi is not just taking President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sentiments lying down.

According to Musalia, the old people ought to be very careful or else the young ones will overtake and occupy their leadership positions.

He made these sentiments in the wake of the head of state taking a swipe at deputy president William Ruto and his allies for always referring to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga as an old man (mzee).

While speaking in Nakuru county, President Uhuru Kenyatta said that leadership has nothing to do with age as is being propelled by deputy president Ruto and his team, insisting that it has everything to do with the brain.

As a result, he urged those people referring to others as unable to go slow lest they get shocked by the turn of events.

The deputy president and his allies have on several occasions criticized the leadership ability of Raila Odinga on the basis that he is too old.

According to these leaders, Kenyans ought to ignore Raila Odinga and elect them because they are younger than him in terms of age.

“Fikirieni na msikimbie. Msikuje na speed. Speed inaangusha jameni. afadhali polepole nsa ufike pahali ambapo ulikuwa unafika, unaniskiza? Mnaniskiza nyinyi? mnanielewa? Mkikuja ati sijui ati mzee hafai tunataka kijana namna hii uyu ako namna hii uyu nako namna ile mtu anachagua na ubongo bana .” Said Uhuru in defence of Raila from Ruto’s attack.

There have been rumors that Musalia Mudavadi is warming up to join deputy president William Ruto through his ally Cleophas Malala.

Just recently, the Kakamega senator threatened to shift camp if the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals endorses Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.

Senator Malala spoke in Kakamega two weeks ago in Kakamega county where the four OKA principals went to have a meeting in a bid to discuss the way forward in their coalition camp.

The vibrant senator even threatened on Saturday that  Musalia Midavadi’s ANC would quit the One Kenya Alliance and join other coalitions if Musalia is not named the presidential candidate by Christmas day.

“Tunataka tukuwe na iyo declaration. Senator amesema vizuri sana kwamba our presidential candidate atatoka kwa One Kenya Alliance. Iyo ndio declaration ya Kakamega! Sasa principals kwa bahati mbaya mkiteleza muende huko ata sisi tutawawacha kwa mataa. (We want to make a declaration here in Kakamega that our presidential candidate will come from the One Kenya Alliance. In case you guys make a mistake of backing Raila then we will also go our ways.

“Sisi tunaamini Kalonzo Musyoka tunaamini Moses Masika Wetangula, tunaamini Cyrus Jirongo, tunaamini Man Gidi na tunaamini Musalia Mudavadi (We have faith in Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Masika Wetangula, Cyrus Jirongo, Gideon Moi and Musalia Mudavadi.)
