Rongai Robbery Part 1: Video Emerges Showing How The Armed Thugs Successfully Ambushed Victims

Date:

Another video showing how the armed Rongai robbers pounced on their yet to be identified victims has emerged online.

In the video, the woman who was in the car arrived at home, during the unknown hours of the night, and the gate was opened for her by another woman believed to be the house help.

As soon as she drove into the compound, the robbers attacked. The one at the gate left the gate half closed as she ran for her dear life as soon as she caught a glimpse of the perpetrators.

One of the robbers went after her as the rest of the team went for the victim who was in the car.

The next video showed the robbers smashing her car windows, forcefully opening the door and dragging her out of the vehicle at gunpoint, before taking her to the house where they stole some valuables.

The incident has left many Kenyans shocked with some blaming it on police laxity.

A friend who stays in that area around Gataka Road Rongai just tells me that crime in Rongai has been up and the police aren’t even bothered…each day almost 4 robberies with violence,” Maliks, who was among the first persons who shared the robbery CCTV footage, said.

“That Rongai robbery CCTV footage is cringe buana. Those ninjas should be shot to death if found. Also, an AK47 just to steal personal items? Are those really their guns or they are working for someone?” Fetty Waff said.

“I posted about two incidents of murder in Rongai last week and many doubted it. This well documented robbery incident is proof that something needs to be done. This woman was almost being killed. It doesn’t matter what time she came home, she deserves her peace,” blogger Robert Alai tweeted.
