Raila Odinga, Martha Karua Billboard In Bomet Causes A Storm On Twitter

Date:

A vandalized billboard in Bomet bearing the images of ODM party leader and presidential flagbearer of Azimio-OKA coalition, Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua has caused a storm on social media.

The billboard is said to have been vandalized by unknown individuals just hours after it was erected at Bomet town.

Several Azimio supporters have however pointed a finger on DP William Ruto and his supporters over the incident and condemning it at the same time.

“Immediately Hon Kalonzo Musyoka returned to Azimio and gave us a clear 60 per cent, Ruto ordered his militia to destroy Baba’s billboards but wanted to tell him kwa Baba Na Mama hatubanduki. Last kicks of dying horse by Arap Mashamba’s minions from Bomet,” Faith Nyakererio tweeted

“This political intolerance and archaic behavior must stop! RAOKA billboard in Bomet has been vandalized by Ruto’s supporters,” a Twitter user remarked.

Some went ahead and brought up the issue of Ruto’s vandalized billboard in Kisumu accusing him of  using it to play PR.

The Azimio supporters accused the DP and his team of erecting the billboard only to destroy it later so as to blame Azimio supporters.

DP Ruto supporters however retaliated, giving Azimio supporters no chance to throw mud at them.

“When Ruto’s  billboard is vandalised in Kisumu, it is very much acceptable but when Raila’s is vandalised in Bomet, it is unacceptable. Sasa iyo ujinga ya double standards  ndio itabidi mwache,” Migosi Brian said.

“Kuzimia sycophants who were glorying goons who vandalized DP Ruto’s billboard in kisumu are now yelling on top of their lungs blaming William Ruto for Mzee wa Kuzimia’s billboard that was destroyed by strong whirlwind winds in bomet town. Maajabu,” Attanasi said.
