John Kuria Mwangi popularly known as Mzee Toldo is appealing to Kenyans to help him raise Kshs4.3 million so that he can undergo a kidney transplant.
The sports presenter was diagnosed with Kidney failure and he requires treatment urgently.
“Hallo Everyone, pls stand with me during this trying time,I need to go back to my feet running pls help me get treated. “chochote kile mungu atakujalia nitashukuru “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted,” Toldo told his followers on Instagram.
The same information was also shared by the breakfast show presenter Gidi who urged well wishers to come to his aid.
“Mtangazaji wetu TOLDO KURIA anahitaji msaada wa kupata matibabu. Kindly help through mpesa details above. God bless,” Gidi shared.
According to the medical appeal poster, the operation will take place in Turkey at a total cost of Kshs4.3 million.
“We therefore kindly appeal for your financial support to help the family raise the required funds so as to quickly enable him to undergo the treatment and meet the cost,” read the poster.
