“Pole Dennis,” DP Ruto Finally Speaks On Dennis Itumbi’s Unfortunate Incident

Date:

Deputy President William Ruto finally paid a visit to his ally Dennis Itumbi, who is currently admitted at Nairobi West hospital.

Itumbi was hospitalized on Thursday December 23 after being tortured by unknown people who had abducted him.

The digital strategist and hustler nation spokesperson was abducted after leaving a barber shop in  at Thindigwa in Kiambu County.

DP Ruto wished Itumbi a quick recovery saying that he was sorry for him.

“Pole Dennis. Get well soon. God is the Almighty,” Ruto said through a tweet.

DP Ruto’s silence on the matter had left many wondering, with the fact that Itumbi is a strong supporter of the second in command.

Most of Ruto’s ally however condemned the incident with some claiming that his recent expose on Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i over land grabbing was the reason for his torture.

“It is absurd ,criminal and a serious violation of human rights and dignity of Dennis Itumbi the manner in which Fred Matiang’i , IG and Uhuru Kenyatta abducted and battered DI leaving him for dead. The devil is a liar. May you 3 go to hell when you die,” Kandara MP Alice Wahome said.

The police however said that they had launched investigations into the matter and urged Kenyans to avoid speculations on the incident.

“Police have launched investigations with a view to establish circumstances surrounding this incident. We appeal to members of the public to be patient during the investigation and therefore desist from speculation,” the police spokesperson Bruno Shioso said in a statement.
