Ndichu Brothers In Big Trouble After Messing Up Again

Date:

The two Ndichu brothers Paul Ndichu and Edward Ndichu are in big trouble after messing up once more by not presenting themselves to the court of law.

An arrest warrant has been issued against the two brothers following their refusal to appear before the court to answer to their assault case.

The arrest warrant was issued by Kibera magistrate Ann Mwangi who ordered the police to go after the two Ndichu brothers.

“Since the accused person is not in court despite a court order I, therefore, issue a warrant of arrest against them,” Mwangi ruled.

According to the lawyer who was holding a brief of the case in the court, he revealed that the lawyer representing the two could not show up in the court because he was held up at the high court with another matter.

“I am holding brief in the matter and I have instructions to ask for another date since their lawyer is in another matter at the high court,” he said.

On his side, veteran Phillip Murgor complained to the court in a previous session that the Ndichu brothers were taking the court for a ride after Edward did not show up to take a plea.

The two brothers were involved in an altercation with two ladies where they were charged with assault and malicious damage to properties.

Paul Ndichu while being charged before the Kibera senior resident magistrate Renee Kitagwa denied the charges. He would then be freed on a 100,000 Kenya shillings bond with cash bail of the same amount.

On his side, Edward Ndichu failed to appear before the Kibera court last week for the third time to take plea after he claimed that he had contacted the Covid-19. He had earlier failed to take a plea on the ground that his employer refused to give him time off to attend court.

“One of the accused persons is in quarantine isolating himself after showing some symptoms related to Covid-19, while Edward contracted the virus on March 12. We expect them out on March 26,” the lawyer told Kibera chief magistrate Ann Mwangi.
