Daddy Owen was dumped by his fetching brown skin ex wife Farida Wambui before Christmas 2020, she fell for an older Nakuru tycoon Albert Njuguna.
53-year-old Njuguna is a monied man whose business empire has invested in microfinance, hospitality, property, real estate, tours and tenders.
Daddy Owen married Farida at the Kenya Assembly Of God church in Buruburu, Nairobi on April 2nd 2016, but their four-year marriage ended like a wind.
Farida married Albert Njuguna without serving Daddy Owen with a divorce or a notice to indicate that they had parted ways. She just disappeared and eloped with the Nakuru tycoon.
It was at Njuguna’s Kika Lodge in Gilgil Nakuru county where Daddy Owen’s ex wife married the wealthy businessman – a week after leaving the musician with their two sons.
Speaking during the launch of Daddy Owen’s new album “CHAPTER IV” at Kempinski, South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro urged the gospel singer to remarry asap to get over his materialistic ex wife.
Osoro revisited the ugly incident that happened in December 2020 when Farida secretly married Albert Njuguna without even alerting or asking for a divorce from Daddy Owen.
“Let me start by telling Owen congratulations. I can hardly believe that he is here. In December, he came to my office and it really hurt me- I had to shed a tear. His life wasn’t looking very okay. I see he is now back on track and I am very happy for that,” said Osoro.
He added that;
“Owen, don’t keep us too long now. Kuna warembo wengi sana hapa. We have already accepted what transpired but it is time to pick one.”
The South Mugirango MP was happy that Daddy Owen had managed to move on and got back to making music.
“I am happy that even as he pursues his music, he tries to lift others,” said Osoro.
