Millionaire House Girl! Lang’ata House Help Steals Over 100 Million From Her Employer’s House

Kenyans have been left in shock after reports emerged that a house girl stole Kshs104 million from her employer in Lang’ata.

The house girl identified as Shelmith Kiprop, also known as Jerop, stole the said amount of money, with the help of her accomplices, on May 5.

She was however arrested on May 13 and arraigned at Kibera Law Courts on Monday. The accused was charged with conspiring to commit felony alongside Caleb Nagomere Rasto ,Agaziva Brain Kenneth Jackline Minayo Kinzi and Eunice Akinyi 

So far only Kshs 2.5 million has been recovered according to the police report.

Through her lawyer Danstan Omari, Jerop’s employer told the court  that she has been receiving threats due to the case while requesting that the accused persons should not be released on bond

The house help and her accomplices are said to have stolen from the complainant in cashs, Kshs4,000,000, USD 806,000, jewelry worth Ksh.4,000,000, copies of a logbook and  title deeds with all their values accumulating to Kshs104 million.

The report has caused mixed reactions among netizens with some saying that they would wish to be in the house help’s shoes so that they don’t reveal where the rest of the money is.

Others however believe that the money was not genuine since no one can risk keeping millions in his/her house.

“Wow iyo ikue mm hata mningo’e Meno cwezitoa na hii uchumi ya Kenya.Please Shelmith Kiprono,wewe umeomoka na iyo 102 million usitoe penye umeficha,” Phobian Kimtai said.

“Ati a house help Shelmith Kiprono stole KES 104 million from her employer’s house in Langata. She’s been arrested and they’ve recovered KES 2.5 million. Sounds fishy,” Mark Philo commented.

“A house help who stole Sh104 million from her employer’s house in Langata has been arraigned. Let me get this, you people in Langata have 104 millions in your houses? I swear I belong to the poors in this country alone,” another netizen said.

“Nani anaeka iyo pesa kwa nyumba, ni kama mwenyewe pia aliiba sa na yeye ameibiwa. House girl pia ataibiwa hdi iyo pesa ifikie mbogi iishe,” another Kenyan said.
