Miguna Miguna has taken a swipe at ODM leader Raila Odinga over his recent protests against the Supreme Court and chief justice Martha Koome.
In a series of tweets, Miguna noted that they advocated for the formation of the country’s Apex Court, which Raila is currently fighting, when he was still in ODM.
“In 2007, I was in ODM and one of @RailaOdinga’s chief strategists and advisers when ODM and @RailaOdinga refused to contest Mwai Kibaki’s electoral theft at the High Court. We demanded and got the Supreme Court established under the new Constitution, 2010,” the lawyer recounted.
Miguna said that Raila was among the people who gladly welcomed the appointment of Koome as Chief Justice although JSC was compelled to appoint her following orders from former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
“When we were criticizing the Judicial Service commission for taking orders from despot Uhuru Kenyatta and Muhoho Kenyatta to impose @CJMarthaKoome as Chief Justice, conman @RailaOdinga shouted that Koome was more RIGHTEOUS than Mohamed and Christ,” he said.
According to him, Raila’s mistrust on Koome started when she dismissed BBI and the recent presidential petition. Miguna however said that he is returning to the country to send Raila to retirement.
“Since @CJMarthaKoome and her Supreme Court colleagues FIRMLY REJECTED the #BBiFraud and conman @RailaOdinga’s INCURABLY DEFECTIVE petition and its MULTIPLE TWINS, the conman has been demanding that “Koome must go!” Mr. Conman: I’m coming to push you to Bondo on a wheelbarrow!” he said.
The lawyer is expected in the country on October 20 at 6 am.
