Miguna Miguna Revokes Raila’s “People’s President” Title

The self-proclaimed NRM General on Tuesday took to his Twitter account to revoke the oath and swore Raila Odinga as the people’s president in 2018.

“By powers vested on me as the Commissioner of Oaths who administered the Oath of Office of The People’s President on Raila Amolo Odinga, I, Miguna Miguna, hereby REVOKE that Oath and declare @RailaOdinga to be an ordinary citizen, Dr. Miguna Miguna said.

According to Miguna, the power he vested on the opposition leader took effect on June 16, 2020.

Together with his fellow lawyer TJ Kajwang, Dr. Miguna Miguna led Raila Odinga to take controversial oath as the President of the Republic of Kenya on January 30th, 2020.

Miguna Miguna has been a critic of President Uhuru’s government and his handshake partner Raila Odinga.

The Canada based lawyer has accused Raila of being a betrayer and being the mastermind behind his denial to get back to the country. According to Miguna Raila doesn’t want him to get back to the country because he is afraid of him.
