Kimani Ichung’wah Drags Uhuru Into Azimio Split Over Dialogue Report

Date:

Leader of Majority Kimani Ichung’wah on Monday November 26 reprimanded former President Uhuru Kenyatta for allegedly sabotaging the Dialogue Committee talks progress

Ichung’wah accused Uhuru of leading the front in Azimio in opposing the report’s resolution.

He alleged that the former president was deliberately leading the opposing side to cripple President William Ruto’s push to fix his mess.

“Well, There it is on the talks saboteur. TWO MEETINGS to scuttle the talks!?
Uhuru Kenyatta, You served the country as President for ten years. The greatest honor a nation can bestow on any citizen. While at it, You destroyed our ECONOMY and nation thru StateCapture. What else do you want??? Why scuttle that which is attempting to fix your MESS?” Ichung’wah wondered.

” Can’t you let those with the temerity and intellect to fix your mess do it in peace?
Your fear that others may and will succeed where you failed is the height of PETTINESS.
When we succeed, Kenyans will be the WINNERS,not those you hate to see succeed. Live with it!” he added.

The Kikuyu MP’s sentiments came after reports alleged that Uhuru, Martha Karua and Eugene Wamalwa had rejected the report.

Wamalwa who was part of the dialogue team refused to append his signature to the report arguing that it failed to address how to lower the cost of living.

Karua also maintained that the report had failed to meet it’s expectations thus openly rejecting it’s findings and resolutions.

However, Raila Odinga announced that he would go through it before announcing his stance.

Nonetheless, Ruto vowed to implement various recommendations contained in the report.
