Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina is now claiming forms 34As, which show the final number of votes each presidential candidate got in a polling station, were manipulated at the polling stations by polling officers.
In a series of tweets on Thursday morning, Ole Kina claimed that the POs had several copies of forms 34As and they would upload the manipulated ones on the IEBC portal. The manipulated forms would then accompany the ballot boxes to constituency tallying centers.
“The IEBC mischief was very calculative! Form 34As were manipulated by the POs who were responsible for filling the forms. Here is how -Fill a form without a carbon copy then later fill a different 34A and upload the forms to IEBC portal. Carry the new one to the RO then to Bomas,” the senator said.
According to him, a number of polling officers in Narok were arrested after their mischief was discovered, adding that all ballot boxes should be subjected to scrutiny.
“In Narok North and Narok East Constituencies we Discovered the mischief and arrested the POs when form 37a pasted in the ballot box had different results from the one given to the constituency RO. Only scrutiny of ballot boxes verdict will vindicate us,” Ole Kina said.
The senator also narrated an incident he witnessed whereby a form 34A was uploaded in a tallying center instead of the polling station
“In Narok East constituency I witnessed form 34a’s being uploaded outside the Constituency tallying center instead of at the polling stations. When I asked the POs why ? I was told it was because of “network” issues. The Agents were not present only the POs –#iebcmischief. It’s not quantum physics … you only need to think like a thief to know how the elections were stolen,” Ole Kina further said.
