Ruto’s Body Language At Sakaja’s Swearing In Proves All Is Not Well

Date:

Deputy president William Samoei Ruto on Thursday attended the swearing in ceremony of the recently elected Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja together with his deputy Njoroge Muchiri.

The swearing in of Mr. Sakaja was attended by president elect William Ruto together with his close allies such as Dennis Itumbi.

However, what stood out was the body language of William Ruto and from the facial expression, he was not in his jovial mood as usual.

Ruto was sad throughout the event, making many of his followers concerned about what exactly was worrying the doyen.

Consequently, the majority of the followers concluded that perhaps the president elect was just at Sakaja’s function physically and not mentally. They concluded that maybe Ruto was being bothered by the recent development after his rival Raila Odinga went to the Supreme court to challenge his win. Below were comments by his followers:

“What is worrying the doyen? He is not happy today which is very unusual. That facial expression does not belong to my president-elect.”

“Our chief hustler is not smiling today. What is worrying him ama the Supreme court case is getting out of hands?”

“I am happy to see Ruto attend Sakaja’s swearing in but leo hana furaha. I hope all is well with the doyen amidst Supreme court challenges.”

“I can imagine what is going on in the mind of the deputy president. Perhaps he is imagining about his own swearing in ceremony but again he has to contend with the fact that his win may never materialize if the Supreme court finds out that dirty games were played.”

“That moment when you realize you are at your friend’s swearing in ceremony but yours may never come to be.”

In the meantime, Johnson Sakaja while delivering his official speech made it clear that he will put to an end the old habit of county askaris chasing innocent hawkers like thieves in town.
