I Don’t Know The Price Of Paraffin Because I Don’t Go To Supermarkets- Rigathi Gachagua During Debates

Date:

The Kenya Kwanza presidential runningmate Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday night scared Kenyans after he openly admitted that he does not know the price of the paraffin.

Ruto’s runningmate had been asked by the journalists to test if he was conversant with the current prices of basic commodities only for him to confess that he never goes to the supermarket.

The response left netizens wondering why their fellow hustler did not know the price of such an essential.

On her side, Azimio’s presidential runningmate Martha Karua was asked if she was conversant with the price of bread which she answered in the affirmative. She however confessed that she could not tell the price of all the different types of bread.

While at it, the Mathira member of parliament took a swipe at president Uhuru Kenyatta for the high cost of living as he urged netizens to reject Martha Karua and Raila odinga.

According to  Rigathi Gachagua, it was wrong for the state to back the Azimio presidential candidates. However, Karua refuted those allegations as she assured Kenyans that they were nobody’s project like Kenya Kwanza were propelling in political rallies.

In the meantime, the Azimio runningmate urged Kenyans to choose them since they had a proven track record with Raila unlike the Kenya Kwanza flagbearer and his deputy whose history were marred with corruption.
