Here Is What Martha Karua Was Doing As Kalonzo Was Busy Shouting Raila Tosha In Jacaranda

Date:

Kalonzo Musyoka has for the third time decided to support ODM leader Raila Odinga in his quest to become the head of state.

Together with KANU leader Gideon Moi, their parties joined about 30 others at KICC in signing an agreement that will see them support Raila’s presidential candidature before proceeding to Jacaranda grounds for a mega rally.

Conspicuously, the Narc Kenya leader who is a member of the One Kenya Alliance was not present to witness the events at KICC as well as at Jacaranda.

It is not clear whether Cyris Jirongo, who is also a member of OKA and the party leader of UDP, was present for the functions.

A Twitter user however got concerned why he was not seeing Martha Karau and went ahead and raised the question on the platform.

Karua responded to the tweet saying that she was relaxing at home.

“Relaxing at home,” read Karua’s tweet.

This got other netizens wondering why she would miss such  important functions yet some of her partners were present.

“But the coalition you belong to has signed with Azimio,@MarthaKarua,” AymSparrow said.

Another one said that there was no position for her in Azimio and that is why she opted to keep off the functions.

Speaking at Jacaranda ground, Kalonzo said that he was supporting Raila for the third time in good faith, even though he still wishes that it could be the other way round.

“To tell you the truth, I was very ready and I still think am ready but we look at the age but before that I want to say thanks to my brothers in OKA you saw us yesterday signing a deal as a coalition but today we have made a big coalition, a grand coalition known an Azimio One Kenya,” Kalonzo said.

OKA, signed a binding deal on Friday at Villa Rosa Kempinski. Kalonzo and Gideon’s  move now leave Kenyans wondering about the future of OKA.
