On Saturday 27th Narc Kenya party leader, Martha Karua took to her twitter wall and claimed that Ruto’s die-hard supporter Dennis Itumbi was her son. Karua had made a feed on her wall which one of her followers referred to Dennis Itumbi as a thug, prompting the Iron lady’s defense.
On her wall, the former minister of Justice praised the Kirinyaga County Assembly was for raising the bar of accountability high. Ms. Karua was referring to how the county assembly dealt with the impeachment motion on her political arch-rival Governor Anne Waiguru.
“Congrats Kirinyaga County Assembly, you raised the bar of accountability high by doing what the constitution and the laws demanded you do. Keep your eyes on the ball and safeguard the interests of the people of Kirinyaga county,” Martha Karua wrote.
Replying to Martha Karua’s sentiment, one Njama Githui gihuki said, “Eva true Martha oletumbi a thug, we need thieves to go home, early!”.
To reply to her follower, the former lawmaker said Dennis Itumbi was his son something that Itumbi himself agreed with.
“He is my son, period!” Marthe Karua said.
“… And she is my MUM, Period!” Itumbi wrote.
With the conversation, some Kenyans claimed the former State House communication strategist had lured Ms. Karua into the Ruto’s brigade.
“Bravo man!! You have lured the iron lady into Tangatanga wing,” one Peter Oluoch said.
Same as Ruto’s allies, Martha Karua has been a critic of President Uhuru’s policies and push for constitutional changes proposed by the BBI taskforce.

According to Karua, the President should focus on the full implementation of the current constitution and not a referendum.
On Monday 29th, Martha Karua also accused the president of letting the people Kirinyaga down in the impeachment motion against Governor Anne Waiguru.
“I’m asking the President, what is your message to the people of Kirinyaga? You seem to have thrown us under the bus, your party did not look into the allegation but settled on sideshows,” Marua told Citizen TV during a morning show.
