Deputy president William Ruto’s wife Rachel Ruto has taken a swipe at the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Amollo Odinga.
While addressing an audience, the visibly angry Rachel Ruto told off the ODM leader and those who have been castigating her husband for dishing out money.
She assured them to brace themselves for more disappointments since William Ruto would continue giving the money whether people like it or not.
She added that her husband is a generous giver and the likes of Raila Odinga must live with it since Ruto is not a stingy man and can give all that he has even if it means remaining with nothing.
She also reminded the crowd that whoever gives will receive more as per the biblical teachings.
“Watu wasizunguke wakisema ati anapeana, yeye atapeana, atapeana, atapeana, atapeana ata mpaka hatakuwa nayo. Lakini bibilia inasema ya kwamba ile mkono inapeana ndio inafanya nini? Mimi namjua deputy president ako na roho ya Wakenya katika roho yake na najua Mungu atakapomjalia atafanya mambo mengi sana maana yeye ni mtu anajinyima ili mtu mwengine apate!” said the visbly angry rachel Ruto.
On their side, Kenyans had the following to say after the kupeana sentiments by Rachel Ruto:
“Thought it was only Ruto that is always bitter kumbe it’s a family thing!?”
“So he will contribute money to all unemployed Kenyans . Kenyans need policies to uplift them from poverty not handouts .”
“Kenyans need to know the source of the money. I agree with her, Kenyans need to get back their looted MONEY by all means!”
“After August 9th…no more contributions.it’s time to recover what he spent if he wins or if he looses which is most likely..there will be no access to public funds so jijazie.”
“They are just proceed of corruption…genuinely gotten money through sweat cant be dished that way ,to an extent ppl fight.”
“Let him continue contributing the looted money but he will never be president why all this makasiriko though.”
“Contribution is a pr gimmick any leader with good intentions comes up with policies and strategies that help the needy in his presence and absence.”
