“You Are Not Respecting Me!” DP Ruto Ally Kimani Ngunjiri Storms Police Station Fuming With Anger(Video)

Date:

There was drama at the Bahati police station in Nakuru county when the area MP Kimani Ngunjiri stormed the station fuming with anger over the arrest of one of his men.

Ngunjiri lectured the police officers demanding to know why they were bound to take his aide to court without conducting investigations and recording statements from witnesses, including him.

Writhing in anger, the lawmaker accused the officers of disrespecting him yet he is an elected member of parliament

“There is no respect. They are arresting my people and taking them to court for what reason?” he posed.

Ngunjiri further accused the officers of siding with Azimio la Umoja and even receiving bribes to frustrate them. Ngunjiri complained that he had reported to the officers over being intimidated by his competitors but they did not take any step.

“I told you, these people are intimidating me , they want to bring me problems. You have not arrested the one who vandalized my banner at the stage and he is insulting people,” he told the OCS.

He further said that he was willing to get arrested  so that they can get satisfied because he is the one that they are after.

Ngunjiri and his allies are however accused of assaulting his competitor, Irene Njoki who is vying for the Bahati MP seat under a Jubilee ticket, alongside her campaign team, shortly after overseeing the Azimio la Umoja campaigns in Nakuru.

The team was cleaning their campaign track at Ahero trading center while announcing the campaign trail of Martha Karua when the MP and his people descended on them demanding them to shut up.

That could have been the possible reason why his aide was arrested since investigations into the matter are going on.
