Deputy President William Ruto is finishing his final campaigns ahead of the general elections in style at the Nyayo stadium in Nairobi.
Ruto is among four Kenyans who are hoping to lead the country after the August 9 general election. His main competitor is Raila Odinga but David Mwaure and George Wajackoya also have a chance of facing him.
Thousands of Kenya Kwanza supporters thronged Nyayo stadium since Saturday morning to show support for the team before Kenyans finally vote on Tuesday.
However moments before Ruto arrived at the stadium, a man suspected to be a phone snatcher was nabbed. A huge crowd was seen escorting him to an unknown destination and he seemed to be pleading for leniency.

This is not the first phone snatching incident to happen in a Ruto event. A week ago, while Kenya kwanza was campaigning in Western Kenya, a suspected phone snatcher interrupted his speech and caused chaos at the dias behind the podium.Â
The phone thief is said to have attempted to steal the phone from the owner who was seated.
