Vanessa Mdee has been forced to respond to Rotimi’s ex-girlfriend who warned her against getting too comfortable with him.
Through an Instagram Live video, Vanessa said that she was not going to sit and watch people ruin her relationship with Rotimi especially his ex-girlfriends.
“I wanted to address one issue that seems to be trending on social media real quick, and it is not like I want to make it trend further but I have decided that I will not be bullied on social media or not respond to media reports about myself,” the songstress said.
According to Vanessa, her social media team had alerted her about some comments that referred to Rotimi as an abusive man.
“My social media team has alerted me to various comments made by people saying that Rotimi physically abuses me or is someone who is abusive to women,” Vanessa remarked.
“Number one, that is so far from the truth. It is not true and secondly, it is something that can mess up someone’s reputation especially when it is not true,” she added.
In a Tiktok video, one of Rotimi’s ex advised Vanessa against being too comfortable with him.
“Don’t get too comfortable sweetheart, I was his everything once too,” Kim Oprah said.
Aside from Kim, Christina Rogers once hinted that Rotimi was physically abusive.
This comes after the couple recently revealed that they would soon be parents.
“We are super excited to welcome our son. As first-time parents, everything about this experience has been a brand-new challenge, we love it,” the couple said during an interview with the people magazine.
Vanessa took a break in music and relocated to Atlanta since she started dating the Nigerian-American Tv star.
In December 30, 2020, the couple announced that they were engaged through their social media accounts.
