The Return Of Wash Wash: New Tricks That Scammers Are Using To Con Unsuspecting Kenyans(Video)

Date:

A woman who is yet to be identified has revealed the new tricks that “wash wash” businessmen and women are using to dupe unsuspecting Kenyans.

In a video shared online, the woman said that she fell victim to the con stars’ tricks after striking a lucrative business deal.

“Today is that day, as the adage goes, every dog has its day. Imagine waking up in the morning to look for business deals. Then we struck a very nice deal. We are told that when the deal is too nice, think twice, but it is like we don’t think twice. All this money you are seeing here is counterfeit. People in Nakuru and other cities be warned. These things are circulating,” she said.

According to her, the unknown amount of money she received from the deal looked very original. She further confirmed that the lion that was initially used to establish whether the Kenyan notes are fake or real was also present.

“I have never seen anything like this. This is fake money. They make it in a way that you can’t tell. You see the lion that our parents used to tell us that is on real money, it is there. The only difference is that the continuous line on the fake note has been drawn. If you compare it with real ones you see its art. Another thing if you check the fake notes on the sideways they are white like paper,” the woman said.
