Socialite Wambui Sharifa Waweru alias Manzi Wa Kibera has parted ways with her husband Obidan Dela barely two weeks after they tied the knot in a colorful wedding.
For starters, Manzi wa Kibera shot to fame when she featured in Eric Omondi’s controversial Wife Material Show.
She has since courted controversy by posting raunchy photos and appearing as a video vixen in music videos of various artistes.
However, Manze Wa Kibera decided to ‘change’ when she got married a fortnight ago. Her wedding was a highly publicized affair, no one could even imagined that time that two weeks later the marriage would hit rock bottom.
The controversial Kibera socialite took to social media to announce the breakup saying that marriage was not was she expected.
Manzi wa Kibera said that her marriage failed because they rushed things and did not take enough time before making the decision to start a family.
“Just decided to take a break from marriage kidogo coz it is not what I expected. Nimerudi mtaa yangu ya Kibera ku stay kivyangu till further notice. I think before marriage people should take enough time kujuana and never do things like weddings or making babies because of pressure,” she said.
On his side, the socialite’s ex-husband Obidan Dela advised his followers who have not yet married or been married to focus on themselves before considering settling down in marriage.
“Kama bado haujaoa kitu naweza kuambia ni unaweza fanya kitu ya maana na maisha yako ukiwa single (Before you marry, what I can tell you is that you can only do something meaningful in your life while you are still single).”
