Comedian Mulamwah has caused a stir online after sharing a flower costing Kshs40 that she bought for his girlfriend Ruth K.

Mulamwah gifted his girlfriend the flower during Valentine’s Day that was celebrated on Monday February 14.

The comedian shared  a photo of the flower and captioned it, “Happy valentines beb , @atruthk.

“Sawa tu,”Ruth K responded.

Mulamwah however answered her telling that she should be grateful because there are those who never got anything for the day.

“Inafaa ushukuru kuna wenzako wametoka bure leo,” he said.

The post elicited reactions among social media users, with some wondering how his budget could be that low.

“Sawa secretary wa Stingy Men Association…??? na btw..Haunge bargain??” Daddy Owen posed

“Mbona Kwa roho ni 40 bob na kwa shamba mamilioni?”  certified gesum said while another said, “hata kienyeji haikuangi cheap hivyo.”

“40 bob na Diana amenunuliwa Prado,” Typing Erro’s comment read.

On the other hand, others responded by bringing up Carrol Sonie, his baby mama, saying she is the one who deserves to be celebrated.

“For the love of Carol Sonnie and baby Keilah let’s gather here and wish them a veery happy Valentine’s day,” Mercy Kimunge said.

“Think of beautiful Keilah and the mom Carol ,” Elvina Mumbe wrote.
