This is not the first time for such an incident to happen to Akothee. Four years ago, the artist also got involved in a life threatening encounter  in Westlands, Nairobi.

Akothee was travelling from her rural home in Rongo when the studs in one of her car’s back wheels fell off while the car was in motion when they were on a bridge.

Luckily, the vehicle did not ram to the bridge as the driver managed to step on the brakes on time. Police officers showed up and helped them in fixing the tire.

“I shed tears when I saw them struggle to fix the tire, we needed new studs,”
