“Rashid Is A Good Husband”Popular News Anchor Lulu Hassan Opens Up

Date:

Popular Swahili News anchor Lulu Hassan has opened up on her marriage with Rashid Abdalla.

Speaking at KICC during the launch of their new TV series, Zari, Lulu revealed that her relationship with Rashid first began off as friendship before they eventually fell in love.

The two met a time when they were mourning.

“Rashid first came as a friend. You know the time you are both mourning you need a shoulder to lean on and stuff…that’s how I saw Rashid he is like a father that I never had in my family. That way little by little love came and right now we have three children and 15 years of marriage,” the successful film producer said.

She added that their marriage has lasted because they don’t hold grudges even if they quarrel, which is rare.

She further praised her husband, referring him as a good husband

“We are friends, we don’t quarrel and when we quarrel it’s inside our bedroom and it doesn’t proceed to the following day. We have never held grudges to the next day.

“Rashid is a good husband, he is a good friend, I can’t remember if we have ever quarrel seriously, he should continue being wise and loving people, he should continue working hard by the way he is a workaholic, you can wake up and still find him working on his laptop,” she said.
