Raila Odinga Warns Kenyans Against Electing DP William Ruto

Date:

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has reiterated his call upon Kenyans against voting for DP William Ruto in the coming general elections.

According to the ODM leader, the second in command is using corruption money to fund his campaigns since he spends more than what he earns.

“He comes to the government when he is thin but after a year he grows fat like a tick. He goes to church saying that the bishop has no car, he becomes a christian more than the bishop, He calls women groups claiming that it is a harambee,” Odinga said while addressing mourners at Lugari Constituency in Kakamega town.

He further said that Ruto’s leadership will be filled with corruption at the expense of service delivery to Kenyans.

“Every month, he gives Kshs100 million yet his salary is Kshs2 million. I know where he gets the rest of the money,” Odinga noted.

This comes just days after his presidential candidature was endorsed by the Luhya nation on Friday at Bukhungu stadium.

Leaders from the western region who accompanied him urged locals to vote for him in the coming general elections.

“We have accepted to move together with the elderly and we will be behind Raila Odinga who will take us to Canaan,” Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya said.

On the other hand MP Godfrey Osotsi said, “As elders of Mulembe have said they are supporting Raila Odinga, who are you to be against?”
