“Raila Ata Sadaka Hatoi Lakini Bado Anapata Kura” Ruto Wonders Why Raila Is Popular Yet He Doesn’t Give Handouts

Date:

William Ruto took a swipe at voters in Samburu county for always voting for Raila Odinga yet he doesn’t give them handouts.

Ruto on Tuesday December 14th hosted a delegation of Samburu leaders at his official residence in Karen where he drummed up support for his 2022 presidential bid.

The DP left the crowd in stitches as he wondered why his fiercest rival Raila gets a lot of votes in Samburu yet he doesn’t even contribute to churches or give offerings.

“Yule rafiki yetu haji harambee ya kanisa, hakuji ya shule hakuji ya kina mama ata sadaka munaskia sadaka pekeake ni problem. Na unajua kuna watu wako na bahati kwa sababu sasa huyo mtu ata sadaka hatoi lakini unakuta amepata kura elfu ishirini unashangaa na hii elfu ishirini ametoa wapi. Kwa kufanya kitu gani?” Ruto said.

The DP further claimed that Raila doesn’t have an impressive track record in as far as infrastructural development is concerned.

He claimed that he has done more for Samburu county under Jubilee government than Raila did when he was Prime Minister.

“Some people that we are competing against don’t have the agenda to sell to Kenyans and don’t have a track record like constructing roads, building TTIs, connecting people to electricity and haven’t built the church, helped women or even given out church offerings,” said Ruto.

Ruto has been giving handouts whenever he goes and he believes come 2022 Kenyan electorates will vote for him because of his generosity.
