President Uhuru Kenyatta has joined other leaders across the word in condoling with Nelson Mandela’s family after the eldest daughter of late former South African President and anti-apartheid crusader Nelson Mandela died.
President Uhuru relayed his message of condolence to President Cyril Ramaphosa, the people of South Africa and the Mandela family.
Zindziswa Mandela passed away on Monday morning at a hospital in Johannesburg aged 59 years. Zindziswa’s death was confirmed by the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the country’s Department of International Relations.
The late was South Africa’s Ambassador to Denmark, was the eldest daughter to former South Africa and President and apartheid crusader Nelson and his ex-wife, Winnie Mandela
President Kenyatta wished Mandela’s family God’s comfort as they mourn their departed kin.

Zindziswa bore the brunt of the harsh regime after her father was imprisoned when she was only 18 months also. Thereafter, her mother, Winnie Mandela would also be in and out of jail often letting her taken care of by her elder siblings.
The information on the cause of her death is yet to be known since the family has not commented on it. Zindziswa has left behind a husband and four children.
