DP William Ruto, his running mate Rigathi Gachagua and other Kenya Kwanza leaders on Friday June 10, commissioned the Kenya Kwanza Women’s charter in an event that was organized at the Nyayo stadium.
The event was also attended by female aspirants in various capacities in the August general elections as well as sitting leaders including senator Susan Kihika, UDA secretary general Veronica Maina, Kandara MP Alice Wahome, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa among others
Reverend Jane Wairimu took those who had gathered for the event through a devotion session.
As she concluded the session, before taking her seat, she invited DP Ruto and Gachagua to take a step forward for a prayer session. However while praying, she mistakenly referred to Kenya Kwanza as Kenya Kwisha thus sending Azimio la Umoja supporters into a celebratory mood.
“When God confuses people who are using his name and Church in vain. KENYA KWISHA and Ruto Arap Mashamba a.k.a Shamban Mwizihatar will know they don’t know!” Mzalendo Azimio said on Twitter.
“Everyone in the room is happy when she mentioned Kenya kwisha. This also indicates majority of women there are in for just handouts na wanajua pahali kura yao iko,” Czar Mzalendo said.
Another netizen claimed that the pastor’s cheque would be revoked.
“The Lady has said the prayer from deep her heart and that’s what it’s for her. Kwisha,” Maurice Odhiambo said on his side.
