“Nimekuambia Sitajibu!”- Angry Martha Karua Destroys NTV’s Salim Swaleh Miguna Style In Live Interview

Date:

The National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) Kenya party leader Martha Karua was on Monday evening angered by NTV Swahili News anchor Salim Swaleh

Salim Swaleh put martha on toes and it seems his questions did not go well with the iron lady who told him on his face that “Nimekuambia sitajibu.!!!”

Salim had asked the former Gichugu member of parliament why she was acting like a watermelon instead of taking sides politically. This was in reference to the recent move by the former One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals to join Azimio, leaving Martha Karua behind.

However, the sentiments did not go well with Martha Karua who castigated the News anchor for driving evil agendas and portraying some of them as watermelons.

She maintained that she does not need pressure and that her NARC party will make the decision at the right time to either join Kenya Kwanza or the Azimio coalition.

With regards to the Kirinyaga gubernatorial race, Martha Karua also dismissed the news anchor as engaging in “wishful thinking” when he asked her how she would deal with Anne waiguru since she never goes to the ground to campaign.

With regards to whom she would back as the president, Karua also told off the journalist not to rush her with such questions.

At Least in that interview, Karua proved beyond reasonable doubts that she does not entertain some questions from news anchors just like lawyer Miguna Miguna.

Miguna Miguna’s interview on KTN was perhaps one of the most dramatic ever seen on television in 2021 after he resorted to lecturing Ken Mijungu like a young kid.

Miguna appeared on KTN via video link from his home in Toronto, Canada to speak on a myriad of issues top being his illegal deportation in 2018.

The controversial lawyer was rattled by some of the questions Ken Mijungu asked and he responded with uncontrollable anger.

All hell broke loose when Mijungu stressed that Miguna broke the law when he swore in Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park following the disputed 2017 presidential election.

“You believe in the rule of law, you believe court should be obeyed and yet you swore in Raila into office against Supreme Court declaration that Uhuru Kenyatta was duly elected in the second election after it was petitioned by two institutions, you violated the law at that time Miguna,” Ken Mijungu confronted Miguna.

Miguna Miguna responded by displaying an arrogant contempt for Ken Mijungu, asking him whether he attended law school to know if he broke law as he claimed.

“So Ken you happen to have gone to law school, didn’t you? Right? No am asking you a question, you went to law school right? What law did I break, tell me which one? Tell me which law, which statute did I break when I swore Raila in? Which law said I couldn’t swear him in?” Miguna replied.

When Ken Mijungu interjected, Miguna angrily asked him to keep quiet and stop interrupting him when he was talking.

“You can’t answer your own questions, and am going to answer your question the way I want. Not the way you want. You better keep quiet when am answering your questions. Ken once you ask me a question you keep quiet, otherwise it’s not an interview. Am not one of those people that you can play around with,” Miguna angrily fired at the KTN journalist.

He went on to clarify that he didn’t break any law when he swore in Raila like Ken had claimed earlier.

“So listen to me carefully, there is no law that I broke, that’s number one. You cannot cite any law, you cannot simply say that because Uhuru Kenyatta had been sworn in any swearing in is illegal. That’s nonsense because you would have to cite the law I broke.”
