55-year Old Man Opens Up On How His Wife Pushed Him To Start Living In A Cemetery

Date:

A Tanzanian man has shocked the world by choosing to live in a cemetery instead of the normal environment with a neighborhood.

55-year old Rasta Magoda Bakari from Bandari Kavu in Tanzania has spend 15 years in the graveyard and it is where he is raising his two sons from.

He however did not just wake up and decide to start  living in the cemetery. Magoda blames his wife for his current situation.

“It is my wife that did this to me and she turned out to be a person that I least expected,” Magoda said in an interview with Afrimax.

According to his narration, he got married to his wife and they were blessed with two children. Everything was fine at the beginning but at some point his wife started to change.

“When I met my wife, I was a rich businessman and everything was going on smoothly. Later two men came and they are responsible for my wife’s change of behavior. She became a bad person,” Magoda explained.

This was at a time when his businesses were not doing very well and he was starting to go bankrupt. His wife was convinced that there was nowhere he would take her. The two further promised to find a younger wealthy man for her and she believed them.

According to Magoda, his wife became unfaithful and would even steal from him the little money that he was left with. By then their youngest son was four months old.

He claimed that his wife began planning on how she would kill him and even went to witchdoctors. Not long after that, he was involved in a  road accident. He however survived the incident thus disappointing his wife

“I chose to come and live in this cemetery because of the problems I was facing in life. This is the only place that ever gave me peace. Instead of living in a house that I will not be able to pay rent, I decided to live here because I won’t have rent issues with anyone,” he said.

Magoda says that he is not scared about the spirits of the dead that may haunt him and his family.

“The fact that I am surrounded by graves does not make me scared at all. I believe that once a person is dead, they are dead for good and I don’t think that they will come  back to life and chase me away from here,” Magoda said.

He added that he has never seen anything extra ordinary for all the years that he has lived in the cemetery except for people who go there to dump things associated with witchcraft.

Aside from just living at the cemetery, the father of two runs a small shop and two other businesses but he says he has a lot of customers.
