Narok Senator Shush Itumbi, Reveals How Ruto Grabbed 395 Hectares Land From Former Vice President Joseph Murumbi

Date:

Dennis Itumbi launched propaganda online to claim William Ruto doesn’t own 395 hectares land in Kilgoris, Narok county. But Narok senator Ledama Olekina has revealed details how the DP grabbed that land.

Interior CS Fred Matiang’i while appearing before the National Assembly Committee on Administration and National Security to explain the alleged downgrading of Ruto’s security detail mentioned a list of properties the DP own and the number of police deployed to guard them.

Matiang’i listed at least 10 properties owned by Ruto across the country and which are protected by police round the clock.

The large parcels of land Ruto owns which were indicated in the list include; 395 hectares Murumbi farm in Transmara, Narok county, 6,073 hectares ADC Mutara Ranch in Laikipia county, 3 hectares Dolphine hotel in Mombasa county and 1026 hectares Mata Farm in Taita Taveta county.

Matiang’i said six police officers are dispatched to secure the 395 hectares Murumbi farm in Transmara which Ruto owns.

Itumbi however rubbished the report by Matiang’i saying that Ruto does not own the 395 hectares Murumbi farm in Narok county or 6,073 hectares ADC Mutara Ranch in Laikipia county.

“Mutara ADC Farm. DP Ruto does NOT own such a Farm. Government has all records of ownership. Infact the HNIB agent at the Ministry of Land says everyone at the records office is shocked by that obvious LIE. WsR does NOT own any property by the name Murumbi Farm,” wrote Itumbi.

Narok senator Ledama Olekina commenting on Itumbi’s post on Monday September 6th assured the blogger the DP owns 395 hectares Murumbi farm in Transmara.

Olekina said Ruto used his influence in government to take ownership of the land from Agricultural Finance Cooperation (AFC) which was entrusted with the said land that was previously owned by Kenya’s second Vice President Joseph Murumbi.

“Your agents are wrong Expressionless face Ruto owns the The Murumbi farm in Kilgoris … he used is influence to take ownership of the land from Agricultural Finance Cooperation (AFC) which had charged the property ages ago and did not inform the family of the late Vice President,” Olekina tweeted.
