Detectives have made another arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of a 28-yea-old businessman at Galana Suites in Kilimani, reports.
The second suspect linked to the shooting – Chris Obure who is suspected to be the owner of the firearm used was on Saturday arrested.
DCI in a tweet said first suspect Robert Bodo had been taken into police custody and a mini Ceska firearm with 13 rounds of ammunition suspected to have been used in the crime was found.
According to the detectives, the recovered firearm will be used as an exhibit and will be subjected to ballistic analysis as the investigation continues to discover the motive of the shooting.
Reports indicate that the businessman, Kevin Omwenga might have been shot after a business deal went south.
According to reports Wycliff was in the company of Kevin, Bodo, and two other men and a woman.
Kevin said he heard a gunshot sound while in the kitchen preparing supper coming from Kevin’s bedroom where he was with Bodo.
While arriving at the scene, Wcyliff found Bodo in a hurry to leave the room. He, however, found his brother shot and blood oozing from his chest.
Kevin was rushed to Nairobi Women’s Hospital Adams branch where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Bodo later joined Wycliff at the hospital before they proceeded to Kilimani Police Station where Bodo was arrested.

Bodo led the DCI detectives to Senteu Plaza which is adjacent to Galana Suite where the incident happened. At the plaza, police found a Mini Ceska firearm s/no B156623 with 13 rounds of ammunition all in the magazine.
The scene of the crime was later visited and processed by Crime Scene Support Services personnel.
At the scene, the detectives discovered a bullet head and an empty cartridge of 9mm.
The Killing comes a few weeks after a woman was found dead outside a flat in Kilimani –Â Santonio flat.
