Mixed Reactions As Ex CS Henry Rotich Lands Government Job

Date:

Former Treasury CS has been appointed as the Senior Advisor of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy by president William Ruto.

The appointment was made through a letter from Head of Public Service Felix Koskei.

In his new role, Rotich will advice on managing the economy and finances. Kamau Thuge, the current governor  of Central Bank of Kenya, previously held the position.

The appointment comes just barely 2 months after Rotich was acquitted from the Kshs63  billion graft case involving the Aror and Kimwarer dams due to lack of evidence.

“I think the devil has been ashamed and I believe he will remain permanently ashamed and for those who schemed this evil work,” he celebrated the acquittal.

His latest appointment has caused mixed reactions among Kenyans as captured below;

Lord Abraham Mutai: So, was former Treasury Minister Henry Rotich FIXED, Witch-hunted or what was all that? Kenya is a circus I tell you my people. This regime MUST fix this and ensure it never happens again.

Sholla:Henry rotich ; the man who’s corruption cases were dropped due to LACK OF ENOUGH EVIDENCE is now employed in Ruto s office Its sad , that in Kenya the corrupt tend to be rewarded.

Bravin Yuri: Former Treasury CS Henry Rotich has been appointed as the Senior Advisor on Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy in President William Ruto’s office.The other day, the president was swearing to fight corruption. I need to laugh in a way that pleases God.
