Teacher Ezekiel Nkeere reportedly went missing days ago.
Ezekiel Nkeere, a teacher who went missing a few days ago, was found dead on Sunday in the home of a nurse in Nyamira County.
Mr. Ezekiel Nkeere Gitangwa, 47, was found dead and mutilated in a room where chicken was housed. A mat was placed over the body.
“We received a report from the teacher’s wife Gladys Bonareri Achoki that her husband was missing,” the police said in a report.
To get to the body, police had to break into the nurse’s home who worked at the Nyamaiya Health Center. But the medical professional wasn’t at home.
According to reports, the teacher was last seen at 9 a.m. on Friday, the day, the teacher went missing.
“This is the same day when he was dropped by a boda boda rider at Egesieri village, West Mugirango location. A missing person report was circulated and a search mounted, leading investigators to the house belonging to the nurse,” according to the police report.
The deceased teacher’s body was taken to the mortuary at Nyamira County Hospital in preparation of the autopsy.
