A lesbian couple in Githongo, Meru County have been arrested after they were found making love full glare of their children
The lovers who are said to have spent a whole night at a drinking spree shocked the area residents who were woken up by the cries of the children who witnessed their parents involved in the indecency.
“It was around midnight when I heard the children crying and I decided to wake up and wake my neighbor and when we went to see what was happening we were welcomed by a rude shock we saw the women in bed naked and making love,” an eye witness said.
Miss Muthoni, the eye witness added that after witnessing the ordeal, they quickly called the area chief who arrested the host suspect Mrs. Naitore as the other suspect escaped but later arrested by the police at her hideout.
Imenti Central Police boss, John Taurus confirmed the incident and said the suspects – Kelle Kwagwiria 48-year-old primary school teacher and her lover Catherine Naitore 38 were taken into police custody for engaging in the unlawful act in the full glare of their children
“They will be remanded until Friday to allow police to carry out the investigation. They will answer cases of practicing the unnatural act of having carnal knowledge against the normal order of nature, being idle and disorderly and causing a common nuisance,” the police boss said.
The two are also accused of flouting the curfew rules after they sneaked into a local bar and took a bottle of wine before they engaged in the act.
Witnesses said the two women had been spotted during the day at a local pub having fun.

“It’s shameful for old women to get involved into lesbianism we wonder why they never looked for men to satisfy them instead of doing the unnatural act and one being a teacher we wonder the example she is setting to our children,” Jane Muthoni an area resident said.
Their act prompted the Irate women from the area to protest condemning lesbianism.
Naitore and Kelle are said to have divorced their husbands and they lived with their young children and have earlier been rumored to be lovers from before.
